Puma Energy’s ‘Go Africa’ Campaign to Energise Africa

01 Apr 2025

Puma Energy has launched its ‘Go Africa’ brand campaign in seven African countries, including Malawi. The other countries are Botswana, Congo, Ghana, Lesotho, Tanzania, and South Africa.

In a statement, the firm said the campaign, inspired by the bold colours, rhythms, and rich diversity that are the soul of Africa, embodies Puma Energy’s purpose of energising communities.

Reads the statement in part: “The Go Africa campaign reflects Puma Energy’s deep respect for the rich diversity of Africa and its people and its determination to be a catalyst for positive change on the continent.”

“This is also reflected in the company’s aspiration to evoke optimism, opportunity, and progress across the continent.”

Puma Energy Malawi general manager Zwelithini Mlotshwa is quoted in the statement as having said the campaign will energise the community in Malawi.

He said: “[The campaign] reinforces our commitment to delivering quality services safely and reliably where our customers need them.

“We are putting our customers first, fuelling progress and empowering communities, not just fuelling engines.”

Puma Energy says since its entry into the African market in 2010, it has demonstrated its unwavering belief in Africa, living its mission of energising communities by delivering energy solution that meet the need of local communities, leveraging technology and building partnerships to deliver reliable and affordable energy to all in Africa.

Puma Energy operates in 16 African countries where it operates 676 retail sites, over 390 of which include convenience stores or quick-service restaurants, supports local businesses through distributor partnerships in the lubricants sector, serves 91 airpots and airfields and operates 28 terminal and deports.

In Malawi, Puma Energy operates 80 retail sites across 23 districts, 45 convenience stores, four terminals, and two airports.

The firm’s 18 000 cubic metre storage capacity contributes to energy security in the country. Puma Lubricants are available through a network of distributor partners.
