Malawi’s 5th annual Cleaner Cooking Open Day

07 Mar 2016

The National Cookstoves Steering Committee would be honoured if you could join us at Malawi’s 5th annual Cleaner Cooking Open Day, for the launch of Malawi’s National Cookstoves Programme Road Map on Friday, March 18, 2016.This year’s venue is Chinsapo Ground (also known as UNICEF Ground) in Lilongwe, only a 10-minute drive from the Gateway Mall (Mchinji Road) Roundabout. This is an open air venue. While we will erect marquee tents over the seating and display areas, please do bring an umbrella in case it rains, and a reusable bottle of water so we minimise plastic waste in our host community.

We kindly ask that you RSVP by Friday, March 11, 2016. Any questions or comments regarding this event, or requests for directions to the venue, can be sent to Ms. Cristel Cheong, Email: crischeong@gmail.com . Anyone interested in preparing an exhibit or selling environmentally friendly products at this Open Day should also contact Cristel at the earliest opportunity, or no later than Friday, March 11, 2016. Please indicate what you plan to display or sell, and let us know the number of people who will represent your organisation so that we can provide chairs for them; we normally assign one table per organisation. Note – there are limited spaces available, so you need to reserve your place soonest.

(Please see the agenda attached below.)
