Dual-listed conglomerate Press Corporation Limited (PLC) has outlined plans to generate about 12 megawatts (MW) at its two subsidiary ethanol-producing plants.
PCL owns PressCane which has an ethanol plant at Nchalo in Chikwawa. The plant is expected ro produce 7MW and Ethanol Company (EthCo) in Dwangwa, Nkhotakota envisaged to produce 5MW.
