Minister of energy Ibrahim Matola says access to reliable energy and affordable energy remains a major obstacle for many Malawians.
In Lilongwe during an energy conference, the minister said that the gathering provided an opportunity for stakeholders to highlight their efforts, share innovative solutions and unlock financing opportunities to enhance access to energy.
“By bringing together government entities, development partners, financial institutions and the private sector, we aim to create a holistic and integrated approach for resolving our energy challenges,” said Matola.
GeAP country lead Collen Zalengera said they are committed to collaborating with government, private sector and other partners to achieving sustainable energy for all.
