“Malawi has great energy potential”

Opening a one-day conference for the Association of Advancement of Science of Malawi at Chancellor College, Dr Kadzamira told the participants that since the Opec oil embargo in 1973, the world and particularly Malawi, has come to realise that the days of cheap and potential energy were over. The conference, whose theme was ‘Energy 1983’, was attended by scientists from government and parastatal bodies.
