The international corps member position is a 6-month service learning experience with EarthCorps in Seattle, WA, USA. Young environmental leaders from countries outside the United States will join US AmeriCorps members to develop skills in environmental service, community building and leadership.

Test and Training Centre for Renewable Energy Technologies (TCRET) Short Courses 2016

Based on its mandate as established by the Malawi Government, the Test and Training Centre for Renewable Energy Technologies (TCRET) of Mzuzu University has organised short courses in renewable energy technlogies for the 2016 calendar year. The establishment of TCRET is aimed at addressing the challenges affecting the adoption, diffusion, and sustainability of renewable energy technologies in Malawi based on challenges identified by the Malawi Government under Barrier Removal to Renewable Energy in Malawi (BARREM).


The United Nations Foundation is seeking proposals from qualified organizations or a consortium of organizations to design, supply, install and maintain decentralized solar PV solutions for a total of 80 un-electrified or under-electrified health facilities in Ghana and Uganda. Funded by the UK’s Department for International Development (DFID) and managed by the UN Foundation, this project falls within the High-Impact Opportunity Energy for Women and Children’s Health, as part of the Sustainable Energy for All (SE4ALL) initiative.
