The company is sale representative Madalitso Juma said the donation was one way of helping government to fight deforestation in the country.
“We joined the fight against deforestation as Some other companies are doing by planting trees. We decided to do it in another way, but the aim is to help government fight against deforestation,” she said,
The feeding centre’s national administrator Mathambo Lowole said the gesture by Sunseed will reduce time spent to fetch firewood and will help conserve the environment.
“This fight will help to restore our natural resources and environment, The environment will be protected and those who have children here will save time and money and instead use that time on other equally important issues,” he said.
