Center for International Environment and Resource Policy (CIERP) is pleased to announce the launch of the Renewable Equity Project (REP), a new initiative to explore the impact of women’s advancement on the expansion of the clean energy economy. The project is developing cutting edge research geared toward energy sector institutions as well as innovative methods for building gender diversity in the clean energy sector in the US and globally.
REP is hosted by the Center for International Environment and Resource Policy (CIERP) at the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University. Established in 1992 to meet the growing need for international environmental leaders, the Center develops innovative approaches to shifting global development onto a path that is more environmentally, socially, and economically sustainable. The Center conducts scholarly research on today’s environmental and resource challenges to provide empirical evidence for academics and policy makers.
The project team will be collaborating with a variety of institutions in the energy sector, including on research activities, expert workshops on campus, development of practical tools such as executive education, and dissemination of research findings. I will be reaching out to many of you to invite your participation and hope you will find the results of our research interesting and applicable to your work.
